Arousal for a guy is mental, and sometimes just physical. It may be possible for a gay guy to get aroused by mere touch from the opposite sex , but I think a true gay guy couldn't get aroused enough to have sex with a woman. Some women like the challenge though. Being Bi here I cant completely answer the question.

Why would you want to "fool" a girl by having sex with her? What a pointless exercise.

A guy can get an erection for no reason at all, let alone fooling around with a cute girl, gay or not. Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I don't appreciate women, too, some women, anyway.

Some gays are more capable of having intercourse with a woman than others. I couldn't get aroused enough to have intercourse, but many here are fathers as well as being gay.

A gay guy could be "trained" to perfect the act of heterosexual sex but this wouldn't be the same as being heterosexual - since heterosexuals have "other" attractions to the opposite gender, as well as the ability to perform sexually. I've heard horror stories of gay guys (usually in a religious setting) making love to women by pretending to be with a guy.

If a "gay" guy was naturally aroused by heterosexual sex then he is not gay. He would either be bisexual or heterosexual.

My good man -- you have to realize that you can visualize something more appealing (like a guy that you like) to get a sexual response, and simply not think about what you are actually doing. Not all gay men can do this (it sickens me to touch a female) but most can get away with it for years -- until the pain and self loathing builds up and bursts out. So yes, you can, just not by spending your time thinking about the woman in front of you. It's a sad way to live though.

Kind thoughts,

Men are men, gay or straight they can get it up and in any hole they see, if the size is right. Sexuality is not just between the legs. It is far more a mental thing. So yes, a gay man can get it on with a women. Most just find the thought revolting. If they do make out with a women they get no real pleasure from it. it's just mechanical.

well if you get aroused while having sex with a woman, and you do the same when you do with a man, then i would say you are bisexual.
but if you do say like, you are gay, then generally you wouldnt get aroused by a woman, because you like men. you are gay. so woman dont turn you on.
so if the questions about you, which i dont no, then i think you are bisexual, because you like men and woman

many many many gay guys can still function mechanically when necessary... I did... you just think of some hot guy and close your eyes... some can't though.... I guess it depends on your powers of imagination...also...when I had sex with a girl... I was previously a virgin... so a warm body was a huge upgrade... and I had never had sex with a guy yet... so I didn't know how much hotter it was....

Only if I were completely fantasizing about the hottest guy and the girl was not distracting me. But to me that is not worth the effort.

yes--- so you probably are not as gay as you like to think you are!!! so maybe there is hope for you but seriously do not use a woman to try and help you fit in and hide what you prefer to be! that is wrong and maybe criminal.most women really would want to know so they could use protection from HIV or aids.good luck to you!
