Question

I need some stocks that I can buy low and sell high for this game in my Economics class in can only be from the NYSE too.

Let's see, there is a little over 2,000 stocks on that exchange. Suppose we sift out those within 25 percent of the low for the last year (last 52 weeks), that is some 1100. Next, let's figure for those with, say, a 10 percent gain over the last, um, 4 weeks. That narrows to about 25. Suppose we take, maybe the top 5 in price change for the last week, confirming an upward pattern. That gives us these: HNI, JTX, BZH, MAN, and BOW. Take a look at those and see if they will help.
