one small voice is right, for boys and some girls, it's fun to get physical and fight. i have 3 sisters and they always fought. and when my 11 year old cousin came over he liked to rough it up with me and his brother. it's all good :D

Some kids just clash. I have one son who is nearly 11 and twin sons aged 9.5. My oldest and one of the twins wind each other up alot but the other twin doesn't seem to be the same with either of them.
So it's personalities. I just split them up when they fall out and try to put right what's gone wrong if I can. But usually it's six of one and half a dozen of another. So if I waste too much energy in sorting a situation out I then have to find enough for the next one that's around the corner.!
Kids are kids but are the children being put in competition in anyway? Cos I have a friend who's husband is always comparing her boys (who are close in age too) with each other and they can fight quite bad.

If you figure it out let me know. My 11 year old picks on his brother and sister constantly. If we ask him to stop he will ... for a few minutes. He's stays in trouble, obviously. But if you watch the kids at school they're all talking to each other the same way. He and his friends can't be together 2 minutes without tossing insults at each other. It's just a stage that hopefully they grow out of fairly quickly.

10 and 11? It's normal. Though annoying.
Mine are 8 and 11, and if they constantly argue I put them in separate rooms. Which they hate because they actually like being together.

let them fight. they'll eventually get tired. just stop them if it starts to get into a physical brawl. my sis and i fight all the time (we usually get stopped when we're rolling around on the floor pulling at each other's hair and biting them (yes we're quite aggressive). we're 13 and 15, and it's just fun to fight.
