You could start your very own Christmas tradition by making everyone on your list an ornament. Buy some of those bright red apple ornaments. Using white paint and a fine brush and a steady hand, paint Seasons Greetings, Merry Christmas, Noel or whatever strikes you at the time on the front. On the back paint the year and the recipient's name.
This can be the first of your Christmas collection. My family looks forward to the ornaments I make them each year.

You do not "need" to... you choose to... that seems excesive unless you have that many mothers and fathers and siblings... Make the gifts... it is cheaper and has much more meaning... and if the recipient dose not apreciate the effort... then they do not deserve the gift... spend what you got and can afford to.... computer generated cards and such are about as meaningful as a lump of coal... a hand made card regardless of how "fancy" is better than any other... if that is all you can afford... add a Gift certificate for some service to be redeemed latter... such as raking leaves shoveling snow, baby sitting, dog walking.... or most espacialy for mothers and grandmothers... extra hugs-n- kisses all year.... just get creative.

What about baking cookies (from scratch!) & giving those out. Or making up jars of cookie/cake/brownie mix (where they just need to add wet ingredients & mix it up) that are all decorated pretty with jewels & ribbons, etc.
I would go to Michaels or some similar crafting store & look through all their stuff. They have soap making kits and candle making kits. You can make bees wax candles or gel candles.
It's early enough that maybe you can save up some money to get some of these things done easily.
OR watch your local stores for buy one get one free sales, or any other good deals, plus check the papers for coupons. You can end up getting really good deals on health & beauty type products that will be great for gift giving.
You can also go to thrift stores or flea markets and find cool costume jewelry, vases, drinking glasses, lamps, etc... You may be able to find some really neat things that will make great gifts. If you found clear glasses for example, you could paint them with glass paint & decorate them, then make candles in them (with the candle making kits).
Hope these ideas help motivate you! ;p

Well, this is not a computer thing, but go to a recipe site and get a recipe for hot chocolate or spiced tea. Mix it up and put it in a cute mug, tie with a ribbon. You can also make a Christmas snack mix. You can find nice recipes at www.allrecipes.com. This mix can then be put into bags and tied with a ribbon.

I don't have any ideas for actually making the presents yourself, but I know that you can buy cheap picture frames for everyone. I did that one year for all of my co-workers. They have frames to fit wallet sized pictures that are perfect to put on someone's desk (in the office or at home). The ones I bought cost $1.00 a piece at Wal-Mart. That would only cost you $15-$20 total. I think they have even cheaper ones that are magnetic, so that everyone can enjoy the pictures on their fridge or something! Everyone loves picture frames to keep their precious memories in. Good luck!

A great idea is to go to a party store, get 20 snowflakes or angels, make everyone an ornament for their tree-and engrave peoples names, you can even add jewels or red and green ribbons and you will probably only soend 10 dollars total.

Bake cookies or something, wrap them in cellophane with ribbon. For a new years party I got a bunch of $1.00 -$4.00 lotto scratch off tickets. I wrapped them nicely and gave them to everyone, I wrote on a little card that I was giving them the gift of hope. A few people even won a few bucks. Good luck

Have you thought about making cookie trays for everyone. You can make several different kinds of cookies, and make trays for everyone that you want to make something for. You can start now, and put them in the freezer. You have eight or nine weekends before xmas, and if you did one batch each week you could have a dozens of cookies. Get some fancy paper, and wrap it. examples, could be chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, sugar, let your imagination go wild.

If you are good on computers, how about coming up with a framed piece of artwork made out of their first names, their pet pictures, family pictures, etc. You can get very simple plexiglas/plastic borderless frames at a place like "Michael's" on sale for very low prices.
Most people really do appreciate and treasure something created especially for them and/or based on their interests.
Good luck!
