My boss knows more about the job and probably life in general. He is older and, I think, much smarter than me. He is also taller.
But I don't think he is better.

My boss is the CEO...... so he's way better than me. He heads up a very successful business and there's no way I could do that. I have respect for someone in that position because it is tought to get to the top and stay there.
Before my promotion my previous boss was certainly not a people person and I like to think I would have done a better job than him. The boss before him and still a great friend was the best one I ever had and I learned everything from him, he was passionate about his job, worked ridiculously hard and always won. I'd love to be like him.

I don't have a boss at the moment unless you consider my 4 year old my boss, which it appears to be on occasion. My last few were definitely not better than I in anyway I can think of.

none of my former or present bosses were in any way better than me. all of them were/ are idiots. my bosses have all got to be boss by default or by being arselicks. any idea how far ahead i would be in life if for one moment i was even put foward for a raise. i did all the hard dirty jobs i was'nt just under-appreciated i was shat on from a great height now i'm burnt out.

I always think my boss is better than me. I rely on his guidance for direction. At times, I do give suggestion or I ask before I proceed. I believe in doing so because it makes things done faster and more accurate

No I am better than them, I tend to be the one with all the answers and the general knowledge ..... and I will go further than this I don't think most of the people in government are better than me either...... I don't want to sound like a know all but they are only people with opinions at the end of the day ....

I work in the composite materials industry, I have in depth knowledge of my job and am properly qualified. The owner of the company in his astute wisdom decided to hire two people to 'manage the manufacturing operation' these two people had extensive experience................... in running a warehouse.............. which subsequently went bust!!!!! They know nothing about the job but are great at getting a bloke to load a van and sitting in an office with their feet (quite literally) on the desk drinking coffee and moaning because we have turned the space heaters on.
Need I say anymore......

My boss is more experienced and knowledgeable in the context of our jobs, he wasn't hired to be the boss, he worked his way up to it.
