I went to Barcelona today and the cheapest way was by bus.
BUT I live in Barcelona province.
You should buy ATM tickets. these tickets give you discounts based on the number of journeys you purchase in advance. I normally buy 10 journey tickets. I buy mine at the newspaper shop

My daugther is in Barcelona studying abroad. She is traveling with other students on the weekends and for their fall break on their own instead of through the school. They book their own flights and stay in hostels. Check out hostels in Barcelona for the most inexpensive stays.

going to barcelona too! in 2 wks usually just travel by bus there its so cheap
