There is only one catch. It can't be one from the catalog of Weird Al Yankovic. Put me down for Abe Vigoda's Dead.

Prof - Aw, that Malkmus, such the smart a**. It would've been cool to hear that.

Sookie - Chalk up more reasons why ABC needs to pull the plug on Nightline. Jimmy Kimmel could hold his own against anyone. That song rocked.

Sylvia - Mackenzie Brothers, lol. I miss those guys. Take off, eh.

The only thing I can think of is Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine's version of "Baby Got Back". Otherwise, I've got nothing. :(

I'm totally drawing a blank, except for a sarcastic cover of Wonderwall by Stephen Malkmus from a radio show that I found in the Napster era. It was so schmarmy and awesome, I wish I hadn't lost the file over time and I could share.

I've got it...you can't top this one..."Anarchy in the U.K." by Green Jelly. It's a parody of the Sex Pistols song of the same name, only they change the words to be about the Flintstones.

Right now, hahaha..
I am an antichrist
I am an anarchist,
Know what I want,
But know how to get it.
Want to destroy Mr. Slate,
Cuz I wanna beeeeeee Fred Flintstone
Anarchy in Bedrock,
Stop in sometime and meet Betty and Wilma,
Try some flint upside down rubble bubble,
Or you can just try fruity pebbles,
Cause I wanna be fred flintstone.
In bedrock it's the only way to be.
Many ways to get what you want,
I use ministry, I use Barny rubble,
I use anarchy,
Cause I wanna be, fred flintstone, YA BA DA BA DOO!!
Is this the USPA,
Is this holywood,
Is this bedrock,
I thought it was hollyrock,
Cause I wanna be fred flintstone,
And I wanna be fred flintstone,
And I wanna be fred flintstone.
Wilma!

Edit: I also like CKY's "Santa Claus is comin' to Town:"

"You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why...

CUZ I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!"

Alice In Chains did "Iron Gland" a parody of "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath on the "Dirt" album.

Richard Cheese is my favorite lounge act parody artists:

my personal fav. is when he does "People=Sh*t" by Slipknot..
The First time i heard that i died laughing.. almost rolling on the floor.. especially the part where he sings.."Satan-(In Falsetto)..... One More Time Motherf*cker.." it's just great because that song is supposed to be all angry, and enraged.. and they do this "Lounge-Happy go lucky rendition, with suicidal, sadistic lyrics... oh the Irony.. it's f*n great!!"

Dangit! Because I think White & Nerdy is absolutely hilarious. What?! I do!

Well, you could go with any number of fun Christmas song parodies - there's the Mackenzie Brothers 12 days of Christmas (and a beer.....in a tree!), or the 12 pains of Christmas ("Stringing Christmas lights! When One goes out - THEY ALL GO OUT!!" Good God, you know this one right?!)
Or a really obscure version of 12 days, which was the 12 Days of Guido Christmas....if you've never heard it, I recommend it highly. It's quite funny.

Lemme think some more.

Dave Grohl recorded a rendition of Creed's "With Arms Wide Open", retitled "With Legs Wide Open." It can't be found on any CD, he did it for a radio show and it can be downloaded off the net.

"The 12 Days Of Christmas" as performed by the Boys (under the alias The Yobs).

Probably the filthiest (non-rap) song I've ever heard and it's quite hilarious.

Also: "Viva Las Vegas" by the Dead Kennedys (complete with crappy Elvis voice impersonation), "Round And Round" by the Germs, "All The Way" by the Voidoids (really aweful Frank Sinatra cover), and the live Stooges cover of "Louie Louie".

And one of my personal favorites "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" the small faces song covered by the Sex Pistols.

It went from "I want you to know that I love you baby,
want you to know that I care,
happy when you're around me baby, sad when you're not there,
Whaatcha gonna do about it..."

To "Want you to know that I hate you baby,
want you to know I don't care!
Happy went you're not around me baby,
glad when you're not there!"
