I don't live in the US, so I don't know what pills you have over there. All I know is that you need to either eat garlic or take pills that have garlic in it. That way your breath doesn't smell.

Even the statin drugs (like Lipitor or Crestor or Zocor) have not been proven to decrease blockage in arteries. Those drugs can reduce blood levels of cholesterol, but have no proof they can unclog arteries.

Aspirin and Plavix (or even Coumadin) can thin your blood so that it can get through narrower arteries more easily.

You should first consult your doctor about talking anything with such effects because they can have serious side effects. But yes, there are prescription pills (blood thinners, Warfarin being one of many) out there to help keeping your blood streams from buildups.
