Is wearing high heels five days a week trying too hard?

Question 1: no way...my wife is sexy as heck and I find her very attracive in her jeans and sneakers...especially if that's ALL she is wearing!;)
Question 2: depends on what you are doing. If you work in an office and this attire is part of that, then no. If you work as a pole dancer, no. If you work in a Jiffy Lube...yes.

Not even. Jeans and sneakers are sexy. High heels 5 days a week, however... that is a little bit to masochistic. Stop trying and just wear what is comfortable and goes along with your companies dress code.

If you're good looking, you can pull off almost anything, and jeans and sneakers is far from something horrible (unless we're talking mom jeans with white sneakers). If you're worried about looking too laid back, wear them with a really cute jacket, and fix your hair. Accessories can also make or break an outfit.

A girl in high heels and jeans comes across as a little high maintenance to me.
The cool European-style sneakers in different colors make wearing them really fun.

It depends on your style. Me personally, I rock my jeans and sneakers on casual days where I'm just chillin out. But when I go out or to work, I usually wear heels. I really just wear what I feel comfortable in and say f- the world and what they have to say about it :)

This is in the eye of the beholder.. as we all have our likes and dislikes in life and this goes for what we find attractive.
I personally think some women are more sexy in some nice lowcut jeans and sneakers then they are in a bikini.
Why? Because it leaves something for the imagination.

High heels is trying too hard any day of the week. Jeans, a tank top, a pony tail and ballcap... maybe a Jeep with the doors off. Nothing sexier.

I don't focus on the shoes, though. There's much more to beauty than footwear.
