I love this series and have just finished reading Eclispe (I loved it). However I'm torn, part of me wants Bella to become like Edward otherwise she's going to be old when he's young! But then again will she be Bella without her blushes, etc?

i'm split, too. you're right she won't be the same w/o the blushes but they love each other and as she grows older, they know that it's one year closer to the time when she dies and edward would never get over that.

I think Bella ultimately will become a vampire. But the tension of Bella and Edward being different is what makes the series run. So Bella can't really be4 changed over until Meyers is ready to end the series. It'll happen in the final chapter of the last book.

Bella will be the same person. Her blushes don't make up who she is. It's the things she does. I hope she becomes a vampire and I think she will. But I hope she throws in action and something happening before so it won't just be a happy, happy book.

Spoiler Alert! Bella provides delivery to her daughter (Renesme) and it almost kills her so Edward injects his venom into her heart. while she wakes up she is a vampire. She is a very controlled vampire however she would be in a position to administration herself in comparison to maximum new child vampires. that's in Breaking daybreak.
