A good meal out. Indeed one of the gastronomic pleasures of life. I love to find and try new restaurants, new cuisines and new foods. It has the ability to broaden your world view, to introduce the new and unusual, to bring much happiness (especially if done with family and friends). There is much to be said for the sharing of a good meal, good conversation and fun.
I really encourage folks to try new things - if you like Mexican, try Brazilian; if you like Italian, try Greek; if you like Chinese, try Vietnamese; if you like French, try Spanish.
Life is too short - enjoy it!

I really do, if it is a good meal. What I really hate is going to some restaurant and being given poorly prepared food or something so pretentious it can hardly endure being in contact with anything as vulgar as a plate! Doesn't matter how much or how little it cost, you get left with that feeling that you waz robbed!

yes i do.. i'm always cooking and so for someone else to cook for me and a friend is lovely.
i also like to be able to drink a nice glass of wine with the meal, but unfortunately i always seem to be driving..

i sure do. having someone else cook & clean is nice. being able to sit down & eat a nice hot meal is very enjoyable.

Yes, there's something so satisfying about it! I love to get pho, which is so satisfying to eat, time-consuming to prepare, and typically so cheap!
