America's achievements are a wonderful springboard for world domination. But Americans are very independent. To facilitate a power to conquer effectively requires blind obedience such as Christianity.
I am suggesting that the direction is toward a reduction of descretionary funds available to Americans. This will close the gap between payroll and food.
The food supply will lesson and the price will raise. This will leave Americans working just to eat. That will produce a society that must be absolutly obedient. That obedience will be converted to military conquests for political power reasons.

Yikes! Try cutting down on the caffeine and remember to take your medication. Take slow deep breaths. Everything will be all right.

That's some pretty wild speculation you've got there, it's a pity (or maybe a good thing) that you don't have anything to back it up with.

The problem with such massive conspiracies is that it's awfully hard to keep a secret, especially when you're as inept and incompetent as our (or any) gov't. Anytime you have more than a few hundred people involved--and something this size would need tens of thousands, at least--odds grow very close to 100% that _someone_ for whatever reason, accidentally or deliberately, will spill the beans.

Also, military conquests are so passé. Any world domination-aspiring person worth his salt knows that the real power of a nation is in its economy, not military. Look at the Nazis in WW2, or any communist nation afterward. You can have a mighty military, but without the strong economy to sustain it, it won't do you any good. So, deliberately destroying the economy in order to enslave a people is only shooting yourself in the foot.

yes. you're right. but don't feel bad, it's happening to everyone else too. except new zealand. i might move there.

"The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of the nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies but would be ashamed to tell a big one."

"All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those towards whom it is directed will understand it. Therefore, the intellectual level of the propaganda must be lower the larger the number of people who are to be influenced by it."

"Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise."

The great thing about "chicken littles" is that they get people to look up every once in a while. I highly doubt there is any conspiracy for world domination, and as long as there are people such as you who are willing to "cry wolf" and point things out, I doubt such a conspiracy will ever have a chance to mature.

The day we believe we have "had enough," the Constitution gives us the right to revolt, if we must, or to rationally choose a new constitution or a new form of government. Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" addresses this, not calling it slavery, but still being subject to those who are destroying us. She said the time has not come to act like the heros in her book by "shrugging off the world from our shoulders and letting it go to hell," while we quietly and secretly remove our minds, our efforts, from their mess.
And don't we have a mess. It stinks.

Industrialism and capitalism have already combined many, many years ago to make slaves of ordinary people the world over. This isn't just about America.
