i have my own website. want to make it more popular and more interesting. any ideas what should i post on my website to make the visitors like it more?i will really appreciate any of your ideas. thanks a lot

I like it when sites have random quotes or facts that have nothing to do with the site.
This will draw people from search engines like Google (people looking for something with the subject of the random writing on your site) and they will see your site.
Of course you want to have content on the site that is interesting or makes them want to come back to the site then, but this is just a good way to get more people to your site. - I've found quite a few sites while looking for something on Google.
You can put RSS feeds from other sites on your site to make it more interesting, also.

We can't give you much advice if you don't show us your website...
Also, it takes more than a good website to get more visitors. You'll need to make sure people know your website exists, they won't just visit it by themselves.

Make it easy to read (print contrast, good grammar, not a lot of rapidly moving and annoying banners, not a lot of screaming uppercase and loud colors), and quick to load. Make sure they can tell, at first glance, what it's about. Make sure the pix are really necessary and belong there. Make it "entice" instead of try to "grab"!
