I'm sure there were gay baseball players in the history of the game, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Can anyone name any?

Burke and Bean (who is NOT the Oakland general manager) are the only two known to be out, and neither came out until after they had retired as players.
Probability says that there have been others.
Former umpire Dave Pallone (the guy Rose shoved), who is also out, claimed to have known of, and possibly even been with, at least one gay active player during his umpiring career.

Were, are, and will be. Look, you get 40 guys together, 3 or 4 are gay. Any where. Baseball, military, ballet school, it doesn't matter. And I don't care. If A-Rod were gay, all I would say is, "How does he hit all those home runs?"
