Well, i don't have a great heart 2 pray 4 them. But ofcourse if we consider something bad for ourselves, then we should consider the same thing bad for all others too, whether they are our freinds or rivals. We should not follow double standards. We shud stay nice wid such people n shudn't make thm to taste their own medicine. That might change their feelings toward us n if still they are not to change then the best way to deal with such people is to leave it on God. His punishes are much worse than those on the earth.

one can not change a person who feels jealousy/envy. however, a person that verbally "puts you down", you can avoid the confrontations, or feel free to say, "if all you can do is put me down with your snide remarks, then its best we dont speak!"
everyone makes remarks ...in there head, but most of us are senistive enough to not voice them to intentionally hurt someone; and when someone intentionally hurts someone, physically or mentally, they are not people you want to surround yourself with.
good luck
hugz and kisses

I have always prayed for them. They must feel really bad if they go and put the extra effort of putting you down. Let God deal with their hearts.

There's a phrase: Kill them with kindness. If she says something like "That's a hideous sweater, you look ridiculous", tell her she looks great and ask her for tips. If anything, it will confuse her, and she'll eventually realize that her insults don't get to you and she'll stop.

Pray!!!! Prayer will do one of two things. Change YOU or Change the situation. It will change you to the point that you will not even notice or care about that other person.God Bless.
