i had a sub for my 12 period class. he came a little late and when the other kids in my class saw him coming down the hall they were like "great not this guy, hes a tool and a half." like the whole class was calling him a tool. ive heard that saying before but what does it mean? its so common but i dont know what it means...and he was a nice sub. i didnt find any thing wrong with him

yea we have 12 periods but some are combined. like i have periods 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11 and 12. some kids have 4/5, 6/7, 8/9. depends on your lunch period. but that has nothing to do with the question

WHAT?? Conceited? no it doesnt!
It means he spends way too much time in his books, like the absent minded professor.......and also means he will conform to every RULE ...(in other words you arent going to get by with murder!)

It means the kids were being jerks. They probably didn't behave in class either. You need to not let others's judgments and actions impact your judgments. The sub is part of the school establishment, true. Is that any reason to act out?

are you kidding 12 periods. i only have 8 and 2 of them are free periods. where do u go to school?

it means he's a conceited jerk if someone is called a tool... a tool and a half is exaggerating the word
