Last month I had a very irregular period, but ever since the week before I have had indigestion. I never had indigestion before and it's really irritating, all the tums in the world don't seem to help it! It went away for about a week and now it should be about the time of the week before my next period is due and I have it really bad again. Could this just be a new symptom of my PMS? ?

I get this all the time, my period thing can just be out of wack, it may be a change in your diet, or eating gassy foods
I get bloated every time it comes, it will go away hopefully
Try taking Midol

No, I don't think so. I mean it wouldn't be abnormal if it were, I get an upset tummy when I'm about to go on my period, but indigestion is a little different. Speak to your doctor and let them know. It could be signs of IBS or something else.

Indigestion is not a part of PMS. It is a completely different medical problem.

Go to the doctor so that you can be tested to find out what the problem is and to treat it.

It could be a hiatal hernia, GERD, or other digestive disorder.

Yes, indigestion can be linked to PMS. It is also made worse by stress.

However, if it persists you should see your doctor.

Is it possible you are pregnant? Many women get heartburn/indigestion when they are prego. Otherwise it may be stress, or if you smoke, that can flare it up as well...

It is possible. I have heard women advising they have indigestion prior to their period. It is not common (from complaints I have heard), but it isn't freakishly abnormal either! :)

It usually takes a while to get the replacement dose right. Keep a diary for your return to your doctor.
