you can it just has to be thicker materials. white dress shoes are a no-no. white in winter can be very striking, try a cable knit sweater in winter white, a pair of skinny jeans in a color like boysenberry and a pair of comfy boots. classy and casual.

It was actually that you could only wear winter white after Labor Day. (winter white has just the smallest hint of blue so it's brighter than regular white) but that rule is so out-of-date now.
I've also heard that you couldn't wear white shoes after Labor Day as they were considered for spring only but that's not valid anymore either.

It's just an antiquated fashion "law" that was invented years ago. Ignore it please! Wear whatever you want! If that rule mattered anymore, then why can you go out and buy a white sweater or a white winter jacket, you certainly wouldn't need any of those things before labor day.

you can do whatever it is you like when you like. Its only idiots and weak minded people that follow these stupid rules from someone who could have been a schizo or a drug addict. I don't let others make rules such as this for me either as for as this or what color ROSES i can give someone cause "some nut" somewhere gave them a meaning that "they" wanted it to have. Make your own rules for your own life hon. Buy your best friend red roses, wear white all December long, talk with your mouth full as long as food is not falling out. There are bigger things going on that people should be turning their noses up to, such as people starving and freezing to death. Who ever says something to you just tell them to GET A FREAKIN LIFE!!!

I don't know but it really doesn't look that good after Labor I don't know if it has to do with the sun. It just doesn't look as bright and airy. Anyway you can wear winter white after labor which really looks good.

It applies only to shoes, and it's an arbitrary fashion rule designed to get women to buy more shoes in different colors. Other countries have similar "rules" designed to get people more conscious of their fashion choices and to buy more stuff.

That is an old, out of date concern. I would still stay away from white shoes tho.
