The most common reason for frequency in women is infection, this is usually, but not always uncomfortable. You give few details so there is a long list of other possibilities which include pregnancy and diabetes.

Sounds just like a urinary tract infection. I have a chronic one, and needing to pee all the time is perfectly normal. I also get the bladder pain a lot. Drink lots of water, and go to your doctor right away. It's nothing serious, but the sooner you get it sorted the better.

Could be a number of things: Could you be pregnant? If you do start to experience pain or burning, it's probably a bladder infection. There's an otc med called Azo Standard that will give you some temporary relief if you begin to feel discomfort until you can get to a Dr. for an antibiotic.

Take care of this because if left untreated it could lead to serious problems.

There are a few things that can cause this. One is a urinary tract infection. It can give you the urge to urinate even if you don't have any urine in your bladder. Frequent urination can also be a symptoms of diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar), diabetes insipidus (inadequate antidiuretic hormone - rare), and the side effects of a variety of medications, particularly diuretics. See a doctor. Soon.

If you haven't been drinking more fluids - what are you peeing?

It could still be something like a urinary tract infection - the pain may come later!

Try talking to a pharmacist if you don't want to bother your doctor at the moment - they should be able to offer you some advice (and be able to ask the right questions!!!)

These symptoms indicate that you probably have a bladder infection but the only way to find out for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

Could be loads. Pregnancy. Bladder infection. STI/STD. Diabetes. Psychological (as in you think you need to pee that much. Or you may have lost control of your muscles so you need to re-train yourself to go when you actually need to. That's happened to me before. Doctor said when I'm in the bath I should stick 2 fingers in my vagina then squeeze. SOme crazy exercises. LOL. Hope that helps.

are you thirsty all the time and therefore drinking a lot? In this case it could be diabetes mellitus. There could be a problem with your kidneys. If you are diabetic there will be sugar in your urine. If you have nephrotic syndrome there maybe a lot of protein. Other explanations are possible too. You must consult your GP as soon as possible. He will be able to conduct the simple tests I outlined and refer you to a diabetologist. Some practices have a GP who specialises in diabetes.

If you pee and you don't pee a lot when you do, it is 9 times out of 10 a urinary tract infection which you can buy pills for and/or drink lots of cranberry juice.

Could be a urinary tract infection. But that usually hurts as well.
See how it goes, if it persists, see a doctor, and they will do a urine test.
Diabetes is associated with peeing lots, but as it's only been one day, I don't think there's anything to worry about.
