Those are some really neat cakes. I made the Big Mac cake for my dad about 3 or 4 years ago. It was for his birthday. Not sure but I think I still have the pictures of it.

Just last night, my daughter and I made a Kitty Litter Cake. That is some thing else, I really don't know if anyone is going to eat it as it looks so dang really. It is even made in a kitty litter box w/plastic liner and the pooper scooper to dip out the cake. I have pictures of that one too.

When my son was about 3 or 4, I made him a semi-truck.

When I was younger, I had taken all of the Wilton classes.

Right after I had my son, the MD's wouldn't let me go back to work right away, so I put my classes to work and did cakes out of my home. I had a ball doing them, and, it made some money.

My son had a basketball court, race track, Darth Vader and Chewbacca, plus assorted others throughout the years. And they were fun to do. Good therapy after I went back to work.

I have that issue of Woman's Day, the cakes are so cute. I used to work in a bakery dept at a grocery store. We decorated cakes and it was a lot of fun, but I never got to be an expert at it.

They are very cool! I don't have the skill or the patience to make one. I did toy with the idea of making a red hat cake for a friend's fiftieth birthday, though. We settled for giving her a red visor with sparkly purple ribbon that we glued on and making a delicious cheesecake instead.

These are really good. I think NC has a Christmas gingerbread cake house contest. People come from everywhere to show their wares at the Biltmore House and Gardens.

I made many Wilton Cakes, even a wedding cake, but these are grander than any I've seen. I'll make the fishbowl and the bubble bath cake for my granchildren on their birthdays. Thank you sooooomuch!

Not silly at all were they. How clever and inventive to make something like this.
You wouldn't want to break it up by eating it would you!!
Thanks for the slideshow I appreciate your efforts . Keep em coming!!!

They are so good. I used to always be looking for ideas for cakes for the girl's birthdays. I did do a Jewelry Box, but had proper square cake underneath, and iced a polystyrene like. I also used to cut a Barbie doll at the waist, and bake the cake in a bowl, and ice like a dress. But those, well they take they cake! they are so imaginative!

I love baking, so am going to try and do some of them for my grand children, for their birthdays, I don't know how it will turn out. Maybe a big sloppy mess.
