Here are some good resources. http://www.lynda.com http://www.flashkit.com http://www.actionscript.org http://www.adobe.com/tutorials http://wwww.creativecow.com

The site that you sent as an example was built using CSS (cascading Style Sheets) A basic pulldown menu prolly built in Fireworks CS3 or something? And to jazz things up the added two Flash movies. The Flash headers look pretty basic. here is an inside tip that will be a huge help for you in the future. Learn Photoshop...download PSD2FLA this is a plugin that will help you export from photoshop directly to Flash. You can really start making some bad Azz stuff then. Good Luck and let me know what your first design looks like.

Well, you have to get the basics down first.

I highly recommend spending some time on:

That should give you a head start on various aspects of flash. Just out of curiosity, are you pretty savvy with Photoshop or other picture editing software? If not, spend a little time in that section as well.

The two almost go hand in hand. Good luck! :)

I'm not that great with flash I've done some stuff and implemented it into my website but I've never made a full website from flash.

But I did a quick search and found some links that may be of some use.

Don't bother! Splash screens give site visitors the impression the website writer cares more about the website's image than about giving the website visitor the information they came to the website to find. Give them information first, and the OPTION of playing flash, later. It is important to respect the website visitor's time.

I used the loose MalwareBytes' AntiMalware device. No restoration factor could artwork on the XP workstation, so i attempted this. I ran the quick test first and it discovered and bumped off 380 some-odd infections! however the pretend message (rogue) grew to become into nonetheless there after re-boot. So I searched back and located yet another reaction on Yahoo! solutions from somebody that had to re-run the test back in "finished" mode. I did that and it discovered one greater contaminated report stated as "pretend-virus" or something to that effect interior the Recycle bin! It bumped off that and upon re-boot, the pretend message and malware grew to become into long gone! thank you. This saved me many hours rebuilding the workstation. I do this form of stuff plenty for people via a volunteer business enterprise I artwork with... this could be a clean version on an previous subject, regardless of the undeniable fact that it grew to become into constructive to locate a loose product that easily works!
