On most computers restarting the computer and tapping either the F2 or Delete key at the black screen will get to the bios screen.
Please be aware that adjustments to your bios can make your computer inoperable. Proceed with caution and know what your are doing.

Usually on startup it will say something like "Press F4" to enter setup. I not have Acer, but, I sure someone here will.
I will say, if, you not sure what you doing. Always write down what a setting was and what you changed it to. Should you have a problem, then you will remember what you changed.

I not sure the link will work, but, you can try. You may be able to do it in eSettings.

Using Acer eSettings Management
You can launch Acer eSettings Management in a number of ways:
From the Start menu, go to Start > (All) Programs > Empowering
•Technology > Acer eSettings Management.
By clicking on the Empowering Technology icon from your desktop, or
•pressing the < e > key (Funny e) to launch the Empowering Technology user interface. Select the Acer eSettings Management icon.

The key to press when you switch on varies according to the model, usually ESC, F1, F2, DEL.

For the Acer 5000 it is F2.

When you first start up ( when you push the power button ) watch the bottom left corner of your screen. There it will tell you which key to press. If you see the operating system start to load you've missed it and you must restart and press the key when it gives you the option to do so, sometimes tapping it helps instead of just holding it down.

You will have to press either the Escape key or one of the function (F1, F2, etc) keys when you first boot your machine. It is usually F12 or F2.

Just reboot and when you get to the logo it should tell you to press a key to enter setup.

As soon as you turn on your PC, press the F2 button. This brings you to the BIOS.

Press the Delete key right when it starts up.
Don't worry it won't delete anything.

it's usually f2 or f12 as soon as you start your computer, f2 on newer motherboards or f12 on older ones.
