In Firefox go to File - Import and it will let you import your Favorites (bookmarks) and settings from Internet Explorer, in a quick and simple wizard.

Go to Run, type C:\Documents and Settings\[Your username here]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ then double-click on the folder (it should be something similar to lit3iatf.default). Then you will see bookmarks.html. Double-click it to open it and there will be your bookmarks.
NOTE: If you are on Vista, use C:\Users\[Your username here]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and dont forget to replace [Your username here] with the username you use to login to your PC.
