When I was a kid, we didn't have no money or food, so us kids had to eat rocks. Heck we were so poor my momma had to stand in line to get rock stamps. Sometimes, when we was standing on the sidewalk outside of Bob's TV and Radio store a watching the Johnny Carson show, I would kind of nibble on the granite facade. Now, I might sound like a bag of marbles when I walk past you, but hey, I can feed a family of six just by walking across a gravel parking lot. But my real question is this, where on this Y/A thing is the poor people section, I think it must be the hoity toity food eating people who won't let us have our own section. What do you think?

I've been looking for that myself. We were so poor growing up that we had to put fries on layaway at McDonalds - hehe.

I sometimes ask serious questions in P & S because there are more responses here than in the other sections and I'm really just asking for people's opinions about things, so it is a poll or survey. I like the P & S people- they are fun. A lot of the people in other sections take themselves and their opinions so seriously. All you get is the same old ideological slant that is not really interesting to me. So, in answer to your question, no, I don't feel sorry for those poor souls who ask genuine questions and get stupid answers. Maybe it will help lighten up their day. I don't think it makes them sad- it probably makes them happier.

Hon you don't need apoor section you need HELP! Hop on over to the Senior section. Those smart folks will tell ya how to fix up a right smart meal known as stone soup. Invite your neighbors and have each bring a little something.

If you have a computer and Internet hook-up, you aren't poor. Why do you want a poor section? To b****h about how much you don't have and wish you did.....Where is the poor section you ask....At the library b/c they unfortunately don't have computers at home like you and I do. So please do tell how this poor section will make a bit of difference if it existed in Y/A...I was poor growing up, but you know what I did..Got a job, got a life, have my own money and as long as I have a dollar to my name, i don't consider myself poor. I would share 50 cents with you if you really needed it. Don't ask where they are ask why they are poor.
