Recently started drinking 6 - 8 full glasses (reverse osmosis ONLY!) every day due to kidney stones. Dr said was caused from lack of water intake. I was trained in water purification and treatment some yrs ago and learned that all tap water contains toxic levels of contaminants and that's the reason public water facilities add huge levels of chlorine in an attempt to kill off at least some bacteria in all water supplies. Have you smelled the chlorine odor in tap water? Chlorine is nothing but bleach! Same treatment as swimming pools. Bottled water is simply tap water ran through a charcoal filter to remove the chlorine so the chlorine cannot be detected by taste or odor. If you want totally pure water read the label and look for the words 'reverse osmosis'. Only a very few brands of bottled water use the reverse osmosis process, Dasani is just one. Reverse osmosis processing removes even the most microscopic organisms from water that with repeated long term consumption may cause serious health problems and sometimes be fatal as well. Most of which have been proven to be carcenogenic. Ordinary home water filtration systems are a joke unless it is an 'RO' system. Other types are only meant to improve taste and odor by extracting chlorine. The ice cubes you use should also be made with 'RO' water to ensure total purity.

drink your own tap water, its just as good or better than bottle water.
plus you can save on all this littered plastic in our ditches, by stopping drinking bottle water.
