Maybe you should question congress about the billions in pork barrell spending on meaningless, ineffective, or non existant programs.
You can call the war in Afghanistan and Iraq BS but the way I see it we haven't been attacked again on our soil since 9/11.
I think insurers will bear the largest burden of reconstruction. To live in a area that poses a great risk and to not carry insurance is foolish. Not all of the burden should have to fall on the Federal Government.

Wow. What university district is that? Presidnet George W. Bush prosecuted the warfare in Iraq for a quantity of factors. The one so much widley understand and least understood, advert to do with Weapons of Mass Destruction. Most men and women consider that the suggestion was once to move inot Iraq and uncover vats of weaponized botulism or virtually entire nuclear instruments. The reality is way much less concrete--Iraq had made steady efforts to stymie inspections and had under no circumstances provided a entire accounitng in their WMD constituents. There had been such constituents that had been identified to be in Iraq in 1992 and in 1998, by way of 2002, the query was once what had occurred to those materails--what were destroyed and the way, wherein had been they, would any of it's validated? Hussein had additionally given so much help and help to terrorists. We were engaged in Afghanistan for virtually a 12 months and it was once identified that al Qaeda individuals had been fleeing--one of the most riskless havens they had been fleeing to was once Iraq--in facet the invasionwa approximately denying the ones havens and preventing help to different terror agencies as good suhc as Hamas and Hezbollah.

You must be kidding. If you think this war is B S, then please turn off your T V and radio, and take another nap. We are fighting a war against people who place no value on human life, and never will. It is against people who want to kill you because you do not believe in their god. So if you have no morals, then yes it is B S to you. You live in an age where more information than ever is at your fingertips, why not use it to get the facts?

I don't think that government should be spending so much money on the war. I think that the humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan and aid in Africa deserve more attention. Maybe my opinion is biased as being an Canadian, but maybe there should be more US troops working with the Canadians in Afghanistan. Are they really fighting terrorism or becoming a part of it.
Some the people they think are terrorist might not be. I mean who is to so say that all of their sources are reliable. I heard that if they send the prisoners back to the prisons that there is tortured being used on the prisoners to get information.

He can't justify the war period. Some people already want the US forces withdrawn from the war. House and Senate both was a deadline to when US will withdraw. Unfortunately GWB has the mentality of "staying the course" which will lead to a backlask. I'm surprised he finally decalred 7 countries available for Federal aide.

Okay here is another question for you. Why should my tax dollars go to the rich people who own the homes that are burning? I mean don't they carry insurance? Every year at this time the Santa Anna winds blow and every October California burns and every year these people rebuild their homes in the areas that are always fire hazards and every year they want my money to do the rebuilding. How many billions have we already spent on fire damage in California and when is it going to stop?

I'm going to have to agree with you there. I was evacuated. The fire has apparently missed my house by one mile, although I won't know the extent of the smoke damage until they let us back into town.
Frankly, we had better get some sort of tax break!
