Trust isn't very hard to gain in family. You have to be close to the person in order to gain trust. And if you cut the rope of trust on that person, he/she won't trust you anymore. The rope of trust is very fragile, and it takes a long time to mend.

It's hard to gain because so many people have been hurt by people in our lives!! It's easy to lose because, like me, I don't take to many chances with my heart!!

well... when you trust someone you open yourself up to them...which means they could hurt you...then at the littlest sign of trouble you snap shut like a clam...not wanting to get hurt.
