scars are healed, they are permanent. you can use a good moisturizer or vitamin E oil to minimize the appearance of a scar, but it never goes away.

Scars are healed wounds. You can try and cover them with make-up or you can have an operation to have skin grafted over it. Make sure you consult with a GP/family doctor before doing anything.

I personally see scars as a source of bravery. Proof you had a difficult experience which you recovered from. I had a massive operation on my hand when I was a baby. I now have a massive scar there which people notice, though I'm proud of it as it's part of my identity. I reckon in time the scar will fade but you'll come to accept it.

You can not remove the scar, but since it has only been 3 weeks I am sure it is more noticable now than it will be 6 months from now. They have cream for scars you can buy over the counter. Start using it and in time the scar should fade. It will never go away, but will not be so noticeable.
