it was awesome. course my memory lane is farther back yet, but then i am braggin, but the way I drove, it was good that muscle cars came after i got the fast driving out of my system. my car had 2 speeds. stop and wide open.

Yes, I'm always up for a trip down memory lane. That was great, I saved the link, thanks. My husband and I love those old cars. We went to a car show Saturday, there were some great cars there. We're hoping one day to have a classic car or truck ourselves. My favorite is an El Camino, so I can have both in one shot. lol

that was fun flower child.i have such good memories of those old drag strips.my mother had a hard time keeping me away from them.my friend asked me one time to ride in his car with him for a race,and i thank god to this day i said no.he was killed when he blew a tire and it broke his neck when he ran off the road.but this was racing on the highway,not drag racing.also i got to see my favorite car it was a g.t.o.loved those cars.

I loved it! I sent it to my dad who is a big car collector! I drove his Edsel in a car show a few years ago and won a prize for The Foxiest Driver! He has entered his Stude in a few shows and when I drive it I drive in the style of the day - hat and gloves too. Thanks for sharing that one!
