in the event that they are taking them off at their table and not jogging around the workplace barefoot, i don't see a concern with it. My ft are killing me at present. I wore a clean pair of footwear that scratched the lower back of my ft. They weren't heels or stilettos. They have been apartments! Thank God that I had a pair of sandals to positioned on somewhat or I too would've been barefoot until it become time to flow homestead. lol

Womens shoes while stylish are not always the most comfortable so that could be one reason. Another reason it could be a nervous habit like when people shake their leg or pop their knuckles.

Foot fetish much? LOL you should wear your shoes properly, it helps them to retain their shape and hold up longer, otherwise go barefoot. I love to walk in soft dewy grass this way early in the morning with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Sorry, its raining....{sigh}
