Saying someones question is not a question , that is offensive ,not the persons question. How can they justify this. This is not a rant this is me and i am not offensive. Those that are , are far and few between. Leave us alone

Go girl! You're spot on!
I think that the nasty small minded busy bodies who spend so much time violating people willy nilly are most likely the same people who , because they're so bitter and twisted, cause endless mischief on the streets where they live, poking their noses in other people's business, reporting them for the slightest thing and taking great pleasure in the mayhem they cause.
They are in the minority, thankfully, and the only way to defeat them is by refusing to feed their ego, in other words, ignore them, treat them like they don't exist, and just carry on regardless

Yahoo will send you a CoC Violation and remove the answer because someone "reports it". They don't read the question. They just remove your answer and send you a CoCV. Stand up for yourself.

You get violations because some schmuck reports you. I have had plenty of CoC violations, because an asker didn't like my straightforward answer, which if in anyway could have been considered offending, was because it shadowed the askers question with a difference of opinion. When I get a violation, I always reply to Yahoo and tell them the above and remind them that I am a pillar in the Yahoo Answers community and with an average 35% best answer rating, I am hardly deserving of being given a CoC violation, unless the Question had also been removed, giving the asker a CoC violation and I always get a reply thanking me for my concern and that they will look into the matter further. I have never been suspended, and many questions have been removed as a result.

Be a lady and stand up for yourself. Don't even think of quiting, or you let the bozo's win.

Cheers :-)

I do report, but only if a questioner or answerer has posted an obscene and disgusting rant or crude avatar. Some people get reported on here for the most trivial things, and it`s not fair. I read a post on here once where someone had been blocked by a certain user, so this someone went back through all the blockers past answers and got her deleted. What a b!tch!

It is the gossip behind the back of your friends, that tells you why you have a friend and do not need an enemy.

As it stands am I only on of a few people, who knows what I report. Sexual abuse against breastfeeding mothers.
And cannibals on heat.
There is no other excuse, except someone confessing a real murder. That has only happened to me in real life so far. And Religious immunity, is a thing of the devil and not for the son of man.
Turning Yahoo against people, just because....... should meet more machine response. I mean independently acting bouncer from our disco....

EJ. For what it's worth I enjoy your questions and cannot see why they would be reported. I am another inoffensive soul on here and have had my share of violations. I just shrug it off and carry on. Nowt so strange as folk as they say.
I have hit the report button once or twice, that was for content which was vile. Otherwise I prefer to live and let live.
I wish others would do the same.
Keep your chin up Enigmatic, we need good people on here.

Aye! Aye! over here.........I saw a UFO back in the 60's flying over the South of England. When I was a young child I lived in a village called Sompting and we were out late at night in our back garden because it was a very clear night and we were looking at constellations. Dad was home on leave from the Royal Navy and this was something we loved to do when he was home. My mother and sister were scared witless when they saw it and refused to believe it was a UFO but me, Dad and my brother were fascinated by it and to this day I still believe I saw a UFO that night. We weren't the only ones to see it either and it was the talking point of the village for weeks after.

I've never reported anyone but have received violations for no apparent reason. Those who do this are probably the same ones who trawl through all the questions giving thumbs down to perfectly acceptable answers.

These people are idiots and probably never ask or answer any questions due to their inability to think. Treat them with the contempt they deserve and totally ignore them.

I have come to the conclusion that they all Ding-Bats.

A ding-bat is a person who has little or no dopamine in their brain. Unlike us retards they can only increase this vital chemical by exercising their index finger. They have never learnt to type using the proper method. We retards can key in faster than an office manager on steroids. They are jealous and self absorbed. Ding Bats ei: One finger trigger

Even though i haven't been reported yet i feel sorry for those who get violations cuz of the pricks on here being so nasty. Sometimes i think they do it because the Q/A was from somebody with a different opinion.
