No, it's just messy, disgusting , and very uncomfortable for the girl. You can only get a disease from a girl if she's carrying it in the first place, not by her having a period.

You can get Sexually Transmitted Diseases or HIV at ANY TIME with someone who has been exposed to it. If you are having unprotected sex, sleeping around with lots of different people, then both parties are at risk of getting an STD or HIV.
That's why you should never have unprotected sex with anyone. A girl being on her period that has been exposed to diseases or has been having unprotected sex is just as likely to pass on an STD or HIV as a girl that is not having her period. A girl is just as much at risk as a guy is if they are having unprotected sex with multiple partners. So it works both ways. Most importantly, both people should be practicing safe sex using a condom every single time to help lower the risks of getting or transmitting a disease. Sure, it can be really messy or just a little bit messy if a girl is on her period because everyone is a little bit different. It's up to you to make the call as to whether you want to have sex with a girl who is on her period. But you should wear a condom at all times because it doesn't matter whether someone is having a period or not -- if either party has had unprotected sex, it can be passed on to another person at any time. That is why you should be very particular with whom you choose to have sex. Can't stress this point enough! Good luck and use common sense!

The only way you can get a disease from another person is if that person has a disease not because she has a period. But the girl could get an infection from you. Thats why they say to women not to have sex during your period.

No, not unless she has venereal disease are the aid's and you can get that any way you go without a period. You better be safe than sorry., use protection any way it goes. You can't look at someone and tell what kind of venereal disease they have only if they have the Aid's so bad it is showing with sores and overall a sick person.

You can't pick up anything you wouldn't the rest of the time. That said, if she has a communicable disease, her period will not increase or decrease the risk of having sex. Women can still get pregnant from sex during their period, so if children aren't on your wish list, use protection!
