Have you noticed the media has stopped reporting on the war because it's going so well now. Only Fox reports on it because they are fair and balanced unlike the biased so called main stream media... This will certainly be magnified in 08' that the libs wanted to cut and run from a war we are winning...

Fact, more democrats voted against the authorization than for it. Fact, the final decision to go to war was Bush's even though he didn't do any of the things he promised to do before going to war. Actually, he honored the 48 hours that he gave Saddam, but he did not honor the promises he made to Americans. And Fact, people such as Hillary should take some of the blame. You can have your own opinions, but you can't have your own facts.

I do not believe that less people are dying
and even one death would be too many for me.

congress is worried about the troops not having supplies- bush/other war supports would let them starve for a while before bringing them home

More spin here than a carnival ride. It's still Bush's war. Did you notice Great Britain has pulled out? Iraq is Iraq, with thousands of years of history. Bush isn't going to change that, even by force. And truthfully, it's not really his to change.

Who war is it, it's Bush's war he stated he is the decider and caused this war , this terrible troop killing , innocent Iraq's that had done nothing to us. Bush is a Dictator and as long as you Cons. keep following him the worst it is going to be. Get another party get away from this Dictator he is killing people and he is killing this beautiful America. WE will be bombed by Russia , China, Iran and many more countries will all get together and BOOM we will be wiped off the face of this world
I don't want to die , I want to live , Fire Bush and Cheney today. They work for us so lets get a vote and fire them they are going to get us all killed.

Nope, the Dem Congress refused to try to take ownership of the conflict in Iraq, so it will always be "Bush's War." Plus, it eliminates the qualifiers "First" and "Second" when talking about U.S. engagements with Iraq. In 1990, we can refer to it as "The Gulf War" and now we can refer to it as "Bush's War." Or will that be too confusing since a Bush was president in 1990 also.

Look, the average Liberal is educated enough to see that the press only covers the negative and has a slant, which means they either choose to ignore that fact, or they actually condone it.
There are several on here who are of the 'whackjob liberal' category (and we all know who they are) who will state false facts so they can call it an illegal war and say Bush lied.
Those people... you will never reach. They're just fools.
Look at how they say Iraq is Iraq and has thousands of years of history...when Iraq is part of what used to be Persia and is, in fact, less than 100 years old as a country.

Son when will you learn, just because there's a momentary lull doesn't prove anything is actually getting better, and the Dems are just making sure our sons and daughters stay safe until this quagmire is over which will be sometime in '09

at the end of the day it's still a war for no real purpose that's cost literally hundreds of billions and has resulted in thousands of dead people

Iraq was never a threat to the USA

Not when Bush asks congress for another 46 billion to spend on his pet projects.

He's spending 2 billion per week on war in iraq now. And wants more!

This has to stop.
