He went undrafted at the 2007 NFL draft and was signed as a free agent by the Chicago Bears. He has since been cut as the third string QB in favor of Kyle Orton. He is expected to try out for an AAFL team located in Gainesville, Florida (where U of F is) come spring.

He went undrafted in during the 2007 draft, was signed with the Chicago Bears then was cut, which is a real shame. I am an LSU fan and we faced off against Chris Leak a few times over the past few years and he was a great quarterback. I just hope he finds somthing, if not a player as a quarterback coach, because talent like his should'nt be wasted.

He's not in professional at all right now, since the Bears cut him about a month ago. He's supposed to play in the AAFL next year if he doesn't sign on with an NFL team.

i also heard chris was supposed to play on the aafl team in gainesville, whatever he does he should do well

yea he isnt anything right now...but he should be a quarterback coach cause i havent seen someone with better form than him..only thing that hurt him was his size..
