Madder than wet cats -- but they won't say it outright. In fact, their method of letting us know they don't like it is that they won't talk about it. Anyone notice how the Presidential debates seem to have subtly shifted away from Iraq? It's because there's very little bad happening that they can latch on to and try to catapult themselves forward with. The Republicans don't have a problem talking about it, but the Democrats seem to have shut up completely.

Let's see, 4000 dead in the last 5 years, 25,000 injured, a half trillion $ flushed down the toilet and counting, a country destroyed and hundreds of thousands of their people killed, and you're happy no troops lost in the last 5 days? You must like OIL an awful lot.
Incidentally, the US killed another dozen civilians again today, 41 yesterday.
Odd how the Bush can keep the OIL pumps working, but not the water pumps.
There ought be a sad type of denial named after you.

A broken clock is right twice a day!!!!
Sheep!!!! That’s what you are!!!
I don't agree with the ways of the Libs... But, I sure don't agree with you. If you believe for one moment that the "surge" is working.... Then I have a bridge to sell you!
When this is over, and ZERO troops have died from this day forward... I will gladly announce to the world that you were right and I was wrong!!
I give Bush credit for not being the man he should have been! Yes, something had to be done in the Middle East, but he has let our country become divided... In my eyes, the Terrorist have won this battle. Bush has never successfully run anything, including this government!!
Tell the families for the thoudsands of US troops that have already died that this is working... I bet you get punched in the nose!

Liberals are open minded, by definition, and assess decisions on the overall. No matter how the last five days have been, Iraq is still a disaster by any measure and maybe the worst decision by any administration in U.S. history. It's too early to judge the surge's progress. I, for one, hope it does work and am very glad there are fewer casualties. Anything that will bring success and peace is a good thing.

There is nothing "conservative" about this war in Iraq, nor "liberal" about opposing it. In fact, a true conservative believes in smaller government, not spending billions upon billions of dollars to send American troops to nations that did not invade us or were about to.
Implying that one is automatically "liberal" if they oppose this war is a gross simplification. Implying that liberals love solider deaths is simply gross. Liberals and conservatives are not neocons...we disagree on many issues, but all can agree this war SUCKS.
By the way, Bush's surge = the Bear Patrol (for all you Simpsons fans out there).

Hoping for more deaths from your own people is disgusting! If you're American and crack a smile everytime you hear of US deaths in Iraq just for political gain, you should be hung from a tree and your eyeballs plucked out!

No, but the issue is we have more troops living with more horrific illnesses than ever before. To be honest, my brother would rather be killed in Iraq than end up a vegetable.

That is an absurd question. Liberals are not assholes. Of course we are happy that the casualties are down (probably more so then you.....I actually have family there).
I will never give props to Bush. He got us into this mess. The fact that he MAY have had something to do with this...AFTER 4 YEARS and 4,000 US soldiers dead....He DOESN'T get props
