the problem is that you have an electronic device staying on after you shut the vehicle off. you should have the electrical system checked to find out if there is a drain on the battery. does the vehicle stay running after you start it? if so, that means your alternator is still good. but running the vehicle on a draining battery and having to constantly jump the battery off can burn up your alternator. thats not something you want to replace if you can help it. alternators are getting more expensive every day. trust me. its either a bad battery or a constant drain. i hope this helps.

Make sure your connections battery cables and posts are all clean inside and out amd make sure they're tight. After that make sure no components stay on, did u accidentally push the dome light switch ON? Or the switch on the door is not turning of the light at night? Are u equipped with automatic headlights? are they turning off
Check the alternator with a voltmeter, hould begetting at least 13.7 Volts. Battery could be bad too. If all these check out ok, , you will have to start lookin for a short circuit and/or corrosion at connections and lights

You obviously have a direct power drain from the battery. Most likely it is a burned out bulb, which is on and receiving current. It could also be a radio, cassette player or CD player left on. You have to check for an open circuit or take the vehicle to a garage and have a diagnostic run on it.

You have a current drain somewhere. If you have an ammeter, place it in series with the battery cable and start pulling fuses one at a time to find the problem circuit. Good luck with it.

Nothing wrong with new battery, you might have bad alternator or some other things. Take your SUV to Autozone or your mechanic and have them to test the battery and alternator for free.

start with the battery, its possible it has a bad cell or 2 which would cause it to ground itself out. if that doesn't work then get a volt meter and start pulling fuzes, if there is a major drop in what its reading then that means that that fuze's circuit has a draw on it which could also be shorting out the battery, but go simple first.

Check the interior lights. For example, if your glove box has a light, look in your glove box to make sure the light shuts off when you close it. I've heard a lot of Chevys and Jeeps have a history of that problem.
