It was a secondary address that the office manage had forgotten about. They just downloaded it to my email client so now I have to go through and delete them....

mine was right at 6,000 i had not checked in in about 3 weeks because i had been sick. i just read the ones i recognized to name from and deleted the rest.

I recently returned from a trip and had 268 unread emails! It took days to read and delete them all.

Heh heh, I'm a chronic e-mail checker, so I doubt there were as many as 10 unread e-mails, really. Maybe over 100 in spam, but I ignore those, generally.
