Hi everyone.
Today I'm 24 wks & 6 days pregnant with my first baby. I've been feeling him move now like all the time. I love it! When will the kicks get really hard to where it gets painful? How many weeks will I be? Also I started seeing/feeling him kick above my belly button now. Is this normal? Thank you for answering!

All the kicking is normal. The painful kicks seemed to happen for me around 28 weeks or more. Just the kicks in the ribs hurt the most, the other strong kicks just surprised me. Congrats!

It hurt me the most when my baby would try to stretch out her legs. Felt like she was trying to put a foot through my ribs, but this was later and she was a long baby. I never relly felt like the kicking was really painful. You will see the baby kick all over your belly

The baby's movement and activity is most noticable (and palpable from the outside)between 24 and 28 weeks when the baby is big enough to make stronger movements but still has a lot of room in your tummy....

So the best is yet to come!

It is definately normal to see your baby knees and elbows kicking you. I am on my third child and can tell you that the kicks start to get very painful sometimes after the 8th month. I was convinced that my 1st child was gonna be a star soccer player!

I'm 24 weeks, 2 days and feel my baby moving every day too. Her movements are still light and fluttery though. I was wondering the same thing as you...when do the movements get harder? Looking forward to reading the responses you get. Best of luck to you!

Mine never got super painful. I always liked them and gave they me a peace of mind. You will see and feel you baby kick everywhere.
