It's easier to nice, since dealing with the fallout of being mean feels a lot like work.
But I see what you are getting at with all the mean responses in Y!A. I think some people here feel it is easier to mean because of the anonymity of the internet and the unaccountability that it affords.

It's easier and much more natural for me to be nice. But, if push comes to shove I can be a wicked animal. You always have to look out for the ones you wouldn't expect.

My default reaction is nice. When I analyze the statistics, I get mean spirited with a want to retaliate.

Both because when im nice I get what I want and when im mean I can be very intimidating and I still get what I want

Usaully mean but it's not like i enjoy it. i mean all you have to do is point out everthing that is wrong about them or that situation. I enjoy being nicer but it is easier to be meaner.
Nice for me is that i like that person and they haven't done anything that bad that my life like choas.
