Depends on whether you mean faithful to each other or to humans. You losing trust in me Elvis? I haven't bitten your guitar pluckin' finger yet. I think hamsters are as loyal a bunch of rodents as ya ever gonna meet and are more faithful that the average hound dog.

Dave S knows what he's talkin' 'bout. Hamsters rock!

i'm sorry to tell u this, but my friend says when he was a kid he was looking at one that had just given birth. all of a sudden she bit the baby's head off. he was traumatized & til this day haunted by that memory.
u have to be the judge, I'm just saying...

(no offense intended to any nice hamsters out there as i don't like to label groups)

Certainly not.................tricky little devils.!!!!!!!!!!!

Just joking.....surely they are not as much fun, you can take out a dog for a walk, Dogs will always look after you and protect you and hopefully live quite a long time. Sadly I dont think that hampsters live that long.

I am sure that you can trust them but they are hard to train I fear......Goood luck anyhow.

no they arent intelligent enough. they dont have a emotional bond with you whilst dogs do. Dogs need you but for hamsters your just another human being.
