It is legal to dress up as a KKK member anywhere. Is it a highly insensitive idea for a costume? Without a doubt. Come up with another idea. Racism is not funny.

It is probably legal, but not the wisest choice to make. If you plan on staying inside at a party, it might be ok. But take the hood off when you drive there.

I would highly suggest against it. Even if it is legal, you would offend a lot of people, of all races. Someone could take you seriously and come after you. It's best not to joke around with something that is so serious and disrespectful.

I agree with everyone except the free speech guy. It is free speech, but why would you want to dress up as a KKK member in the first place?
You might as well just wear a sign that reads "Please punch me in my face repeatedly. Pretty please."

It's legal but it's in very questionable taste and you might take a whole lot of grief from anyone who sees you in your costume. If you do it, expect to be harassed the whole night.
