I know I experienced hot flashes later on in my last pregnancy. I estimated my ovulation period and we tried to get pregnant around 8 Oct. It's been about two weeks but I also know that it can take up to 5 days to fertalize the egg.

Also, I've had nausea, lack of apitite, vivid dreams and my phobia of the dark has increased, every night for the past week.

lol thanks! I'm not very social so I don't know all the acronyms...also my various ob/gyns/mid wives were not very helpful or supportive.

My period is usually 1 and 1/2 months inbetween. I had a two month gap before my last one, on the 22 of Sept. If I was normal, my next period would start in two weeks, exactly.

I'm sorry, it would actually be ... this week if my menstural cycle was normal. Since it is not, I will start worrying in another couple of weeks.

Yes, it can be. Usually the earliest sign is either fatigue or breast changes/pain, but hot flashes are a symptom too.
Good luck and baby dust your next go round. Keep trying, don't give up!

I was just getting ready to ask the same question. AF is due tomorrow for me and since Sunday I have been having hot flashes. Sunday night when I had my hot flash I check my Temp and it was 100.2. About 30 minutes ago I had another one and again my temp shot up. Now it is back down to normal. Hopefully this means we will both get our BFP!!! Keep me posted.
Sorry - AF is Aunt Flow (period), and BFP is Big Fat Positive!
When is your period due? Those sound like promising signs.

Yes, it can - I hot flashed like you wouldn't believe for a week before I missed my period with my first...my husband thought I was losing it. I had the air conditioning cranked.

You just took a pregnancy test and it was negative. So WHY are you asking about a pregnancy that doesn't EXIST????
Yes, you probably have the flu. If symptoms persist, see a doctor. If you also continue to be unable to spell at the 9th grade level, you might want to see a remedial English instructor.
