You are definately not supposed to sleep on your stomache once you get bigger. But you will be so uncomfortable when you do it that you will know when it is time to stop doing it! And definately not on the back either once you get bigger. There's something about a nerve that gets squished that could harm the baby. SLEEP ON YOUR SIDES WITH A PILLOW IN BETWEEN YOUR LEGS FOR SUPPORT!!!

I am 7 weeks and I am sleeping on my stomach all I can now. With my first baby, I had this wonderful magical mattress that was like sleeping on a cloud and I was 7 months sleeping on my tummy. Then after that it was too uncomfortable. But I don't have it anymore so I will sleep on my tummy until I can't no more which will be in a couple of months. So good luck and God Bless

It's not bad to sleep on your stomach up to the point where you still feel comfy... I did up until I was about 4 months... Then I started getting bigger and it was just impossible to do so... So as long as you are comfortable enough to do so, do it... Cause after a while even though you want to it's gonna be uncomfortable... Enjoy while you can...

Depends how far you are along. If early, no...but later, yes. The best sleeping position is your left side as this oxygenates the baby the most, the stomach the least.

As the size of your abdomen increases, you may have trouble finding a comfortable position including sleeping on your stomach.

Depending on how far along you are, if you can still sleep on it and be comfortable, then go ahead, it isn't going to hurt. In your first trimester, maybe even your second, you are going to be okay...It isn't going to bother the fetus...

As long as you're comfortable, you're fine. You will reach a point where you just can't anymore...but early on...get tummy sleep while you can! You'll miss it when you're very bumpy.
