i saw him on post an answer to someone's question regarding their financial problems. apparently he can give out loans at a low interest rate and repayment can be in increments of months or years. i was wondering if anyone has used his services or know anything about his services.

There are a lot of scammers preying on people in need looking for loans. Beware -- remember, there are no scammers if there are no suckers.
If you'll notice, Yahoo remove those types of posts because they are against community guidelines for solicitation.
Go to peer to peer lending sites such as Prosper http://www.prosper.com and you will find more reliable sources of loans, rather than a post of a person who is more likely to be in other parts of the world that are hotbeds for financial scams.

100.00% chance that he is scammer.
Clue #1) Yahoo email address. A legit lender would have his or her own domain.
Clue #2) Trolling message boards. Legit lenders do not do this.
Clue #3) Personal loans at low interest rates. No legit lender does this. Personal loans run up to 20%-30+% interest due to the high risk.
Stay away!

My friend, he is a loan scammer. Beware of offers that sound too good to be true because they are. He will get your personal information and some upfront money and you won't see a dime of the promised loan and be vunerable for identity theft and more in the hole financially. Be very careful, my friend. Good luck.
