The matches are scripted but the moves are very real. Now while some moves such as the chokeslam require a jump from the other person alot of the moves are choreographed. But when you see John Cena picking up The Great Khali and slamming him down with the F-U there's not really a way to fake that.

The matches are rehearsed in advance, so the outcome is already determined.

Mishaps do occur such as broken bones, concussions etc.

Those things are very real.

its not real, and its not fake. its SCRIPTED... the storylines are fake (its called KAYFABE) but the moves in the ring are real.

some injuries are real and therefore called LEGIT injuries, others are fake to hide real life injuries (called KAYFABE injuries) an example of kayfabe injury is HBK's concussion 5 mounths ago. an example of legit injury is John Cena's torn pectoral muscle during his match with Kennedy 6 days before No Mercy on RAW.

It's like a soap opera with wrestling as the action part of it. When the wrestlers become injured, that's real.
