I think they are awesome! Im black and my boyfriend is white.... all my friends are also in interracial relationships with white guys too.

Yes - wouldn't that be wonderful. My family is like that, two black sons, two Canadian Indian girls, two caucasions.
There could not be a happier group. Interracial relationships show that there are two people who love each very much and don't look at the color, but the special relationship they share.
Just because two white peopel, or two asian couples, or two black couples marry, does that guarantee a great marriage.
Not according to the divorce statistics. I see this world becoming a peaceful, loving place with everybody living in harmony with everyone else on the planet.
I hope that you are right, that we will, one day, way way down the road be one race. What a happier world it would be - no one saying I am better than you and wars happening all over the place because of the hate between races. I've made many friends along my long life,and many of them are interracial, and many are gay couples. I have gone to several gay weddings and there is no difference between 2 white people and an interracial couple, or for that matter a gay couple. They are just as loving and giving as anyone. I have inerracial in my family also. We are all close. Why do people have to care what religion or race people are? We are all the same.

Some say we might one day breed into a single mixed race. However, I suspect that many people will naturally segregate and separate themselves from the cultures who mix. Though I am a huge fan of interracial dating and relationships, I also enjoy the beauty of very different looks and body types. It would be a shame to breed out all of our differences, such as skin color and eye color.

If you get right down to it, we are all members of the same race anyway......the Human Race! It's the only race that even needs to be recognized anymore. If two people are compatible, I don't think the color of their skin matters ONE IOTA! There's a LOT of people in this world. If we are all ever going to get along, we're going to have to start focusing on the similarities we all share rather than the differences.

I'm white and my wife is not. So I'm all for it. Racism comes from ignorance, poor upbringing, and lack of education. Being from 2 different cultures one must have an open mind to learn and embrace the other culture. The world is a better place when we learn about each other. I loved the Oprah story about a couple who were card carrying racist. There house was burning down and they were unconscience and a black guy passed by and saved them and there dog. They felt guilty later on about their feelings towards black people. I guess they might have been dead if he cared about their confeserate flag.

No. There will always be people of different races. Only a small percentage of people have inter racial marriages. You have to remember that there is billions of people in the world, most will marry their own kind, but some will not.

I'm all for them. I've been interracially married for nearly 17 years and I have 3 biracial children. We are a very blessed and happy family.

Interracial relationships that are viewed as bad is a thing of the past. I am all for it--you love who you love, the color of your skin doesn't mean anything as to who you are as a person.
