Let me tell you, I sometimes get such bad stomach cramps that I can't even stand up straight, never mind walk. It's from being bloated and as soon as I let out some gas (lol) I feel much better! Try eating enough fiber and I also enjoy eating dried fruit, it usually relieves the pains!
I'm 25 weeks pregnant

i dont want to scare you but you should definitely call your doctor. he/she will most likely want to see you when you tell them of your cramping.ive had 4 children and although i had cramping and constipation with no problems at the end of 3 of my pregnancies i had the same feeling (at 31 weeks) with my second baby and after about a day of it i went to the bathroom and my water broke. sometimes labor can feel like you have to have a bowel movement so if i were you i would get checked just to make sure.....if you are 5 1/2 months as long as your water hasnt broke they should be able to stop your labor if it is contractions and if not at least they can give you steroids to help the baby....i didnt have this option as my baby was delivered 20 mins after my water broke and i wasnt even checked in to the hospital yet (about 3 mins earlier and he woulda been delivered in the car)

If at all worried, double check with your doctor. From my personal experience, I know constipation can make you feel this way! I felt so sick yesterday I had to take a day off work..... I was a bit worried too, but when I had a bowel movement I felt 100% better. Try drinking lots of water, go for a walk, and maybe even drink a bit of coffee (I know caffeine isn't good, but in moderation it's okay - and it helps me with constipation!)

It sounds like it's just the constipation. Miscarrying at 5 months is rare and if it were pre-term labor it wouldn't be a continuous pain, it would be a quick tighten and release of pressure. Drink plenty of water and eat veggies that are high in fiber to help your bowels to be more regular. If it continues, consult your physician.

Just sounds like constipation to me. Constipation in normal in pregnancy, especially if you have to take iron tablets. If you do have any bleeding though or any serious pain that doesnt go away, you should go to the hospital or call you doctor for instruction.

It was probably gas or indigestion. Feel your belly really carefully if the pain comes back. If it feels really hard where you think your uterus is, then you need to call your doctor right away. Also call your doctor if you see any blood or spotting. If you don't have any of that, try taking a warm shower and eating some prunes.

Constipation in pregnancy is one of the symptoms when you are far along pregnant so don't worry you are not going to miscarriage you just are constipated.
Still worry go to the ER or call your ob/gyn to make sure everything is ok.
Hey Congrats you are going to have your baby in 4 months which is awesome!!

Most likely it from being constipated, but I would still call the doctor. You need to make sure you are drinking enough water and getting extra fiber in your diet. My OB told me I could use Metamuci's Fiber-Sure. It is a tasteless powder that disolves easily. You can add it to plain water, sauces, juice, milk, etc.

I think you are too far along for a "miscarriage" it would be a still birth. I would call your doctor and tell him that if he cannot see you today, you'll be going to the emergency room. It could be preterm labor, and if you don't get help immediately for that, it could make you give birth really early.

Thats normal. I went through that when I was 5/6 months preg w all three of my kids. Most likely its Irratable Bowel Syndrome, which makes you very crampy too. You might be eating too much dairy too? Mention it to your doctor though, and ALWAYS report any bleeding!
