I think we're getting acting and fashion modeling confused here.

It all depends on the part! Life is not the Disney Channel. Not every role requires young, good-looking kids. In fact, most don't.

If a man could be "too short" to act, Joe Pesci would be in big trouble. He's tiny.

It is quite sad if an agent overlooks talent. I would suggest that talent is the most important thing. Actors will always get rejected no matter what they look like, or how talented they are. You are either right for a role, or not. Actors like Tom Cruise may not need to audition these days for a role, but for certain roles, he will never be considered (no matter how much he would like to play a part).

Anything out of what body type is in has to be compensated for by ability. Danny DeVito has played all kinds of roles that would not ordinarily have been played by some little slightly cubby guy. The actor who plays Ray's brother on Everybody Loves Raymond is way over the norm for height, but is so good that he fits in. You can always find work if you are good enough.

"Build" is only important relative to a particular role. Tom Cruise is a short little turkey, Mathew Broderick isn't exactly "Buff", and they get roles all the time. It is more about ability to portray a character. Looks do weigh, but not so much for a guy as they do for a girl. I would recommend that you improve your English skills, they also look at that as an indicator of reading ability and general intelligence, and ignorant and illiterate just do not work as a skills-set in an actor.

Absolutely. Traditionally, people who work in television and film tend to be on the 'short' side - it's easier filming, plus television sets are notoriously tiny. I have been at 'cattle calls' where the casting director walked down the line and eliminated people by going 'too short' - 'too tall' - etc. So much of it is what they have in their heads as to what/who they are looking for. But YOU NEVER KNOW. Never let that deter you from attending an audition. NOTHING should ever deter you from attending an audition or call. Best of Luck!

Alot of guys that are famous are short.

Tom cruise, Kevin Cosner, Vandam, etc

i would say being in shape is the most important. They can make you look fat but they can't make you look thin.
