Whom would you love and chose to have close to you even if he was not a relative of yours?

My Uncle Bill.
He's my mother's only brother. Wonderful person. He was a deputy police chief in a major city for years and went on to teach law enforcement after he retired.
He's also ex-military. He's one of the funniest people I've ever met and he can tell you stories with words that make you feel like you're right with him going through it.
Things as simple as family fishing trips to how many silly excuses people had when they were caught breaking the law.
He loves people and he's just a complete card.

My parents are deceased and my siblings are questionable. My best friend of 20 some years has been through thick and thin together. Our children have all been raised together and consider her their Aunt.

I think besides them (we are not a very crowded family) i would make some add ons:-) and i would make some of my friends my relatives.

I love most my relatives but I don't know if I'd choose to have them either way...I guess my nephews are an obvious choise...

um not anything my mother changed to Islam and while she informed her loved ones they ultimately obtained over it. they had been crying and moaning approximately it however they obtained over it. and my entire (Muslim) loved ones is lovely devout so i doubt someone could convert, but when for a few cause they did then i suppose its among them and God i could nonetheless love them despite the fact that, if that is what your asking.
