One of my best friends is male - and my husband has no problem with it. In fact they have become good friends through me as well.
Would I date him? lol hell no - he's a friend, and I know where all his skeletons are buried! I love him to death as a friend but wouldn't give him a high recommendation as a potential mate!

No my best friend is the same sex as I am. I do have many female friends and aquantences and am the only male at work also. I would not date any of these ladies if I was single as I value our friendship too much,.
Would I be understanding if my spouses best friend was a male. As much as I'd love to say yes that I would not have any problem with this, the fact is that in reality I know I would.

this situation could be distinctive for each couple by using a number of circumstances. in case your ex is a modern-day ex and you had a very warm and heavy relationship with him, i might say no. If the relationship did no longer end that badly I additionally does not see something incorrect with it. it somewhat isn't any distinctive than ultimate friends with the be certain of your new child if the two one among you're actually not at the same time anymore. My husband has ex-girlfriends that he's friends with from over 10 years in the past and it does not hassle me, yet I even have ex's as friends. i does not choose him putting out for all time without me and issues like that, yet interior the tip slightly believe will bypass an exceedingly good way.

Yes he is and yes I am married.
My husband does not know I still talk to him. He never wanted to meet him although it was offered. No I would not date my best friend as he is thinking of marrying someone else. He does not want to be with me (I can not have children) and I do not want to be with him (he has mental problems BPD)
No I would not be understanding if my spouses best friend was a female. He doesn't ever communicate with me or talk about anything, so I would be jealous if he would be chatting up a storm with another girl, when I am willing. My husband has absolutely no friends, male or female. Although many females at work have approached him at work and sucked him into their little games. They like him because of the power he has in the company.

My 2 best friends are men. One of which is gay so there is no threat there (to my husband). The other is not but is totally not my type and my husband gets that. My friend and I have slept in the same bed about 200 times and nothing ever happened (and this is when we were super drunk)
Both of "my boys" were my "maids" of honor in the wedding!

Yes, I have a best friend who is a male. I am married and my husband hates it. They are kind of friends also. Yes, I would date him. He is everything that I want in a partner. My husband can be a jerk and my friend tells me that I can do way better. I think that I would be understanding if my husband's best friend was a female.

One of my best friends is my brother in-law. But if we were both single, there is no way on earth we would date! He is a too much of a hot head and we would fight all of the time. But we are still really close.
